My Little Recyclers!

Evan will not stay out of the recycling. He loves to get into the news papers and then he has black ink all over him. I would just shut the door to the pantry but don't worry we have a Jenny Jumper in the doorway so I can't shut the door (I swear my house has been taken over by baby stuff-but I wouldn't have it any other way-the house was so boring before!) As soon as Ellie see's what Evan is up to she is right behind him. What little stinkers!

"BLISS MOMENT" February 22, 2009
I am definately feeling Spring when I pull out the Green Poka Dot sheets. I changed my sheets today a Sunday ritual and I decided to put the Red Flanel away and pull out the Poka Dots. There is just something about crisp, fresh sheets and whenever I look at these ones I feel like I should be smelling fresh cut grass they are just so cheerful. I think that next Sunday I will be washing the milk stains out from leaking bottles (because I am a total sucker and have to sleep with at least one of the babies from time to time) and putting them right back on the bed. Isn't it rediculous that I get so much enjoyment out of clean sheets.

"BLISS MOMENT" February 22, 2009

Tonight I made dinner for my family. We had Shepard's Pie-not a very glamourous meal but a Lewis favorite thanks to Ashley Laris for the recipe. I decided to do something a little different tonight so I wore my cute apron, set the table with my cute red and white dishes and matching place mats and I even put my red tulips in the middle of the table. (my big splurg for the week-I just couldn't help myself they are only $4.99 a bunch at Smith's for anyone interested). No I am not trying to be Martha Stewart I am just trying to enjoy all of the things that I have. I am really trying to concentrate on being happy with the things that I have. I got so much satisfaction out of just taking a few extra minutes and making myself use my creativity. I think that Jimmy even appreciated it because he did the dishes without me even having to ask.

Ellie's First Paint Job!

I tried to paint Ellie's little nails and toenails. She was so frustrated with me by the time I was done, but everytime I look at her little hot pink nails I can't help but smile. It was totally worth the mess!!

"BLISS MOMENT" January 14, 2009

Last night I realized just how loved Evan and Ellie are. They received so many Valentine's it was rediculous-they got them from the Grandparents and the Great Grandparents. It just blows me away how much love they have around them. I am so grateful to have so many great people in their lives. I have always felt that the more love they have the better! Thank you so much to Grandma Joy, Grandpa John, Grandma Sherry, Grandpa Mike, Grandma Deon, Grandma Meg, and Grandma Karen and Papa Gene for thinking of all of us on Valentines Day we love you Lots!!

"BLISS MOMENT" Februrary 8, 2009

Jimmy and I went to SLC for the weekend-just the two of us! It was the first time we have left Evan and Ellie to go out of town. It was really hard to leave them, but it was so great when we got home! I was so excited to see them. So I guess you could say my bliss moment was the fact that I missed them so much! I think that we all need to get away once in awhile just to remind us of how wonderful home is and how much we love the people around us!

NO NAP!!

This is what happens when Ellie won't nap when she is supposed to!!

But,We Just Wanted to Watch a Movie!

I know that this is a little taste of what I am in for I was folding laundry and Evan and Ellie were playing and they were being very quiet! I went to check on them and this is what I found they had a basket of dvd's and were going hog wild. I don't even want to think about the mischief they are going to cause when they start walking!!
