We all loaded up and took the kids to Steinaker-they all had so much fun playing in the sand and the water!! I am sure we were all quite the spectacle when we saw a storm coming our way so we hurried and loaded all of of stuff and tried to push our strollers through the sand and up the huge hill before we all got rained out!! I swear nothing we ever do is easy-but i guess that is part of the fun in it!!

Summer, Bikes, & Friends!

This summer the twins had so much fun riding their bikes. They also loved playing with all of the neighbor kids! Jimmy would put out our "CAUTION CHILDREN PLAYING" signs and he would run the neighborhood races!! I swear I spent most of the summer on the front porch watching Evan and Ellie ride their bikes in the drive way! I can't even believe that they are old enough to play with all the other kids and I know that this next summer the training wheels will be coming off because they were begging to take them off this summer!! Jimmy and I just were't quite ready for that.

Warren Family Reunion 2011

Well it was another successful Family Reunion! Evan and Ellie had so much fun!! They are totally obsessed with their cousins and know how to get exactly what they want from them!! I can't even believe how many little kids there are right now-they never have to go to far to find someone to play with!!

This year for the 4th we went to the parade, swam at my parents house, and then had the annual dinner at Mike & Sherry's house and watched the fire works! Evan and Ellie were really fun this year because they loved the sparklers and they loved watching the big fire works!! Ellie had so many mosquito bites on her face that her poor little face was swollen! I was so glad to finally have nice weather for this 4th!!

Evan & Ellie's 3rd Birthday!

This year for Evan and Ellie's birthday we decided to have a party at the rec center. We rented the blow-up slide and the kids all swam too!! It was seriously sooo crazy-all the kids just ran around and played! Ellie got her first bloody nose on the blow up slide and now every time we drive by the rec center she has to remind everyone that she got a bloody nose there. The twins made a haul when it came to the presents! I think that everyone had a great time and I know that all the kids were exhausted by the time they got home! I really just can't even believe how fast time has gone by! It makes me sick to think that the twins are already 3-I wanted them so badly for so long and I feel like they are just growing up so quickly!! When I look back at when I started blogging and my first posts I get tears in my eyes-I guess all you can do is try to enjoy every moment!!

Easter in St. George!

This Year we were able to spend Easter in St. George-my parents bought a home down south this last Spring so we stayed a week with them. It was so much fun and felt great to be able to be outside! The weather in Vernal is so unpredictable this time of year and it happened to be freezing cold this year so I was really glad to be where there was some warm weather! I can't wait until we can go again and spend more time!

Mickey & Minnie!

This year for Halloween Evan and Ellie wanted to be Mickey and Minnie-their very FAVORITE cartoon is "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" well it was horrible because on Halloween we all got the stomach flu so they weren't able to dress up or go trick-or treating!! But, a least they still love the costumes-they are always dressing up in them and everytime I look at Evan with those huge gloves on and his squeaky ears I bust out laughing-he is such a little doofus!! So I guess that the Halloween costumes weren't a total waste!

Living Planet Aquarium!

When we did the marathon we decided to take the kids to the aqarium-it was actually really cool! They had tons to see and even had a sting ray tank where the kids could touch them if they wanted too. Notice Ellie's pj pants-she peed her pants and luckily I had just bought her some new pj's and notice Evan's golashes he calls them his "work boots" he practically stole them-he let me know real quick that we were not leaving the store until they were his!!

So for a while Evan and Ellie thought that every time I folded laundry they needed to get the ironing boards out and help me. Ellie got her own set for christmas, but Evan didn't get one (big mistake on Santa's part) so he uses mine-I have to put it down on his level and he uses my real iron (And I have to keep reminding him that he can't plug it in because it gets hot and will burn him and he will have to go to the er and get a shot in his bum) Needless to say my iron is now broken and the ironing board doesn't stand as level as it should!! They also think that they need to try on all of the clothes that I am trying to fold. In these pictures they are wearing my t-shirts! Oh they are such great little helpers!!

Kona

This year for christmas my parents gave us a trip to Kona. We really wanted to go to Kona and see Stewart, Betsy, and Jonah. We have missed them so much!! All I can say is that this was one of my very best trips-we had so much fun. We actually had rooms at a great resort but we only ended up staying there one night-we really wanted to spend time with the Solmonson's so we stayed with them the rest of the time!! It was so awesome for the twins to get to play with Jonah and get to know him better and it was perfect because we had our own round the clock personal tour guides-we definitely got to see a lot more staying with them then if we would have stayed at the resort! We spent most of our days at the beach, letting the kids play and searching for sea shells. Jimmy got to go golfing one day, and he went out on Stewart's boat another day. We were originally supposed to stay 7 days but we were having so much fun we extended our trip another 3 days-and I still wasn't ready to come home!! We were so sad to leave Stewart, Betsy, and Jonah and the beach!! We will definitely be visiting the island again-hopefully sooner than later!!! Thanks mom and dad-it was the best family vacation ever!!

Christmas and Snowmobiles!

This is the day after Christmas-since everyone was so tired Christmas day we all went to my parents and spent the day! We were really anxious to get Evan and Ellie on the mini snowmobiles and these aren't just any old snowmobiles my dad found vintage Kitty Kats on Ebay that happened to be in amazing shape!! Ellie's had never even been started! All I can say is that I have never laughed so hard in all my life-they were complete disasters!! They were totally out of control but they insisted on trying to ride the snowmobiles by themselves! Jimmy and I were so warn out from chasing them in the snow! And to finish off the day they had a head on collision Ellie rode her's right up onto Evan's and put a huge gash in the hood! I really wanted to cry because they were in such good shape and my dad was so proud of them, but don't worry he had it fixed the next day! I can't wait until they ride again-they were so dang funny!!!

Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning was absolutely crazy!! I couldn't even stand it so Jimmy and I woke the twins up around 7:00 and they dug into their gifts. The first thing Evan said was "Where's my Chainsaw" They were a little confused as to why Santa wasn't at our house-I think it was because we kept saying "Santa is Coming" after we opened gifts at our house we went to Mike and Sherry's for breakfast and more presents. Evan and Ellie got their first "BIG BIKES" I can't wait until it is warm enough so they can go outside and ride them. Then, we went to my mom and dads house-by the time we got there and opened more gifts we were exhausted (that is why there are no pictures) Grandma Joy and Papa John gave the twins 4-wheelers and snowmobiles-I swear this summer there is going to be a lot of helmet wearing!! We had such a great Christmas even with all of the spoiling I felt like we were still able to remember the things that were important and enjoy the Holidays!

It is so much fun every year Grandma Deon has a Christmas Party for everyone. We eat lots of good food, the kids run wild, and everyone opens gifts. This year Santa stopped by and I really didn't know what Evan and Ellie would think of him, but they loved him!!

The Polar Express

So we all loaded up and decided to take the kids for a ride on the Polar Express. We went out earlier that day and went shopping in Park City, then went to Heber, and then back to Park City to stay the night. I think I could have done without the train ride but I think that all of the kids had a great time and we always all have so much fun together!! And I will never be able to erase the image in my head of all of us running for the train (we just about missed it) we were running and Jimmy and I were yelling at each other because I wanted to grab the kids coats incase it was cold and he was freaking out because we were late-and when we got on the train we all about died of heat it was so stinking hot!! Oh well mom has to be prepared right?? I definitely was a trip to remember!! And the kids sure were adorable in all of their matching jammies!

Candace's Gingerbread Party!

Candace and Savannah hosted their annual Gingerbread House Party and we had such a great time! I think that Evan and Ellie ate more candy than they put on their houses. All of the kids had so much fun running around and playing and it was so nice to eat really good food and visit with friends!! Thanks Candace and Savvy we had a great time!

Holly Days Parade!

So Jimmy, Grandma Meg, and I all loaded up and braved the Holly Days Parade. We met all of our friends their too. It was so stinking cold that I don't know how much the twins enjoyed it. I am not to sure if the parade was worth fighting the cold-but the whole atmosphere was for sure!! I have to say that Vernal did a great job-they had the big fire troves everywhere and there were a ton of people enjoying the festivities. It definitely gave us the Christmas Spirit! And I am so proud of Grandma Meg for being such a great sport!!

Decorating for Christmas!

It is so fun now that the twins can help. They were so funny this year-they were great helpers. Evan would just take the ornaments and literally throw them on the tree in handfuls. Ellie was very careful about things and asked if everything was glass because she was afraid she would break it. Christmas is going to be so much fun this year. The twins are at such a great age. Kids are really what make the holidays the best!!

Disney on Ice & Discovery Zone!

I have really been wanting to take the twins to the Discovery Zone at the Gateway-I had heard how much fun it was and that the kids would love it, and they did!! They were running around like little crazy heathens-they just couldn't decide what to play with next. I think that their favorite part was the grocery store. We will definitely be taking them their again!!

Jimmy and I decided to take the twins to Disney on Ice. I really wanted to take them because it was Mickey and Minnie's Adventure and Evan and Ellie are totally obsessed with Mickey and Minnie. When we got there we bought all the goodies that were way over-priced: spinny toys for $20 a piece, coloring books fir $5 a piece, and lemonade's for $10 a piece!! I swear they really know how to rip you off!! Then when we went to find our seats we were so pumped because we were on the very front row! Evan and Ellie loved when Mickey and Minnie would come out and they were ticked when they would go back and the other characters would come out, they just kept asking "where's Mickey" and "where's Minnie" I think that they had a lot of fun-I am not to sure about Jimmy he just asked if the next time we went it could be a "Grandma's trip"

Elk Hunt!

We went Elk Hunting again and again NO LUCK for the boys!!!! We always have so much fun camping with all of our friends and this year the weather was really nice-which is always a plus with kids! I love to look back at the past years and see how much the kids have changed. The first year was horrible and they cried the whole time and now it is hard to believe that they are out running around with Savvy and Hayden!

Trip to Lagoon and the Zoo

We went with my mom and dad to Salt Lake and took the kids to Lagoon and the Zoo. I wasn't sure how they would do at Lagoon, I didn't know if they would like any of the rides or not but I thought it wouldn't be a total loss because all of us adults LOVE rides so we could just take turns watching the kids and we could ride! Well we didn't even get a chance to ride many rides because the twins LOVED all of the rides. I bet that they rode every little kid ride 3 times. I think that they would have just rode anything that we put them on!!! It is so funny because the very first ride we put them on was the little dorky dolphin ride and I was pretty nervous because I didn't want them to cry, so Jimmy and I took them over and buckled them in and were totally being the over-protective parents! Once the ride started I looked and Ellie put her little arms straight up in the air, and every ride that she rode she did the same thing!!! I didn't even take any pictures at the zoo-they thought it was pretty boring since we went to Lagoon first! I would recommend going to the zoo first! We had such a great time-I can't wait to go back!!!

Reading the Paper

Evan and Ellie have been soooo into reading magazines and the newspaper lately. I think it is so funny because Jimmy always reads the paper when he is eating so one morning while I was making them breakfast they both went and got a newspaper and were sprawled out reading it!! It is so true that they really absorb every little thing that they see!

For some reason I love it when Evan and Ellie wear these matching jammies! I think they look so cute! They are so funny with each other right now-they are little pals! Evan is totally the leader-he comes up with the plans and Ellie follows right behind! I love watching how their little personalities change as they grow! I am so glad that they have eachother!!

Warren Family Reunion 2010

This is the 3rd year that the twins have been able to go to the Warren Family Reunion-we had so much fun!! There are soooo many little kids right now it is CRAZY! Evan was so funny this year he found one of my old straightening irons and he had to pack it everywhere with him (you will see it in a lot of the pics) Ellie was totally obsessed with Gabby and Addy and Evan was totally obsessed with Ashley-and their obsession hasn't stopped! The little night games were so much fun this year with all of the kids-they had races and I swear that after every race there was a kid crying because they fell down or someone tripped them and then you would see the mom or dad go running into the middle of the race to rescue them! We had such a great time this year and I can't wait until next year, I am so glad that the twins have this opportunity to meet all of their cousins!!!

The 4th of July

This year for the 4th we went to Mike and Sherry's for dinner and to watch the fireworks. Mike and Sherry had my parents, Austin & Kara, and Archee over for dinner too. We always have Delicious BBQ and it is so nice to be able to watch the fire works from their back deck!! My dad had bought a huge package of fire works so we sat out front and did those in the road. Evan and Ellie loved the fire works this year they just kept saying "ewe ad awe" Notice how we all have our sweat shirts on-isn't it supposed to be warm on the 4th of July?? Hopefully we will have better weather next year!

Flaming Gorge Car Show

Back yard Camp Out

June 26th is "National Camp in Your Back Yard Day" so Jimmy and I decided to host a camp out for all of our friends. Jimmy smoked some amazing ribs and I made some sides. It was Hayden's Birthday Party the night before so Dave and Tara brought his monster truck pinata to the party for the kids to break. I don't think that any of the adults got a good nights rest-but I think that all of the kids had a good time!

Helping Plant the Garden!

So I want Evan and Ellie to be involved in planting our garden every year and this year I am not sure how much help they were. They took out all of the tags from the plants, so I am still not sure what I have planted where and they kept digging in the dirt and throwing it. You can see a picture of Evan pointing at his eye-that is because he got dirt in it! We will have to see how it goes next year! Hopefully they will be a little more help next year!!

So I was running to late to dance that I didn't have time to take Evan to my mom's house-so I just decided to take Evan to dance with us! He was so funny at first he thought he would try it out with all the girls so he stretched and did ring around the rosies-but when it came time to dance he just stood at the front of the class with his little legs crosses, leaning on the mirror and just checked out all of the LADIES!! He is so adorable I can't get enough of him sometimes-he is just so sweet!

1st Dentist Appointment

So I am trying to be a good mom and start the twins off right! I am hoping that if I start taking them to the dentist early we won't have problems later! I wasn't sure how it would go because it is a all out wrestling match just to brush their teeth-but they actually did really good!! Their hygienist is Stacie Samuels and she is so sweet-I think that they really liked her and they loved all of the little goodies they got when they were all done!!!

EASTER MORNING... Jimmy was so funny he came in to wake me up and he told me that he already had everything sat up-so we went in and woke Evan and Ellie up-they had no idea what was even going on-but when they walked in and saw what the Easter Bunny had left them they got so excited-and that dang Easter Bunny only brought one bubble lawn mower (you would think that he would have known better) so luckily when we came home later that evening he had left another one for Ellie!!

DYING EASTER EGGS... We went to Grandma Joy's house to dye easter eggs. Evan and Ellie had so much fun, Evan kept trying to put all the eggs in the same cup and then they would get a little confused and eat the dye with their spoons-I am sure it tasted nice and vinegary!! They were so hilarious and they wanted to do it all on their own!

Spring Cleaning

So I have been trying to Spring Clean the house- and all I can say is that I have created little MONSTERS!!! I let them help me and they watch me take everything out of a room or a closet and wash everything down and re-organize it-so now that is all they do-they have to always have either a baby wipe or one of their little washcloths (which has to be wet) and then they go around washing down the walls and one day I was in my bedroom working on laundry and all I could hear was little feet running back and forth as fast as they could go and when I came out to see what they were doing this is what I found-they had taken everything out of their playroom that they could and stacked it all in the hallway and were washing down the walls in the playroom-oh what little helpers they are!!!

Lately Ellie has been into dressing up-last week I had to get my hair done and Grandma Meg and my mom came and watched the twins. When I got home Ellie was all decked out in her princess jewelry and her back pack. I was taking pictures of her and then I started to feel bad for Evan so I tried to get him to dress up in his safety glasses-he wanted nothing to do with them so Ellie decided that she wanted to wear the glasses too! She definitely has her own little personality-she is so full of it and keeps us laughing all the time!!!

GRANDMA KAREN & PAPA GENE'S CHRISTMAS PARTY!-Grandma Karen and Papa Gene had a Christmas Party for all of the kids-it is mad caious with everyone in their house-but it is so much fun! We ate dinner and then the kids opened presents and then they always have a pinata for the kids-it is so much fun to watch all of them-the youngest kids get to hit first and then they work up by age-this year the pinata smasher was Aiden he was so excited and when all the candy fell all of the kids did a huge dog pile right in the middle of the floor!! They had so much fun!

Jensen Christmas Party!!

Melanie has a party every year-she invites everyone down to Jensen. This year was so much fun-she had a horse and carriage ride for the kids and a fire outside to keep warm by and tons and tons of good food! This year she had an amazing turn out of 71 people. We all have so

So I added a few new songs to my playlist-and there are a couple of stories behind the songs that I just have to tell-"Jackson" by Johnny and June Cash is totally me and Jimmy's song-we love it ever since Walk the Line came out and we do a pretty BAD A duet to it!!! And "So Happy Together" by the Turtles was my Grandma Meg and Grandpa Don's song-every time I listen to it I smile!!!

So I know that this post is a little out of order, but I just had to post these pictures. This year was way better than last year-I don't know if anyone remembers last year's post "I HATE CAMPING"! The kids were actually able to go outside and play and run around-we only had one melt down where Jimmy had to leave Flaming Gorge Lodge with Evan because he was hysterically crying oh and I forgot Ellie spilled Red Wine all over me at Red Canyon Lodge, I think that restaurants are going to start putting up their closed sign's when they see us coming, but all in all we had a great camping trip!

This year Evan dressed up as a Bumble Bee and Ellie dressed up as a Lady bug, since Candace and Ryan were having a Halloween Party Jimmy and I also dressed up as Popeye and Olive Oil. We had so much fun, first we made all of the rounds to show off the kids costumes and then we went to Candace and Ryan's house. It was so much fun to see everyone dressed up-she had so many fun treats for the kids and a awesome dinner of sloppy joes. We had a awesome Halloween this year I hope that next year is just as much fun!

I think that I must be a little obsessive with the hand sanitizer! I wanted to get a cute picture of them together-I thought that they would just stand their and be nice and quiet-yeah right!!

First it was his crocks-he had to wear them everywhere even to bed and now it is his little Reef slippers-it wouldn't be such a big deal but the slippers are fur lined and they were starting to get really nasty after being worn for a week straight! And the other night he had to sleep with 2 blankies, his teddy bear, and his play bullet bike all while wearing his shoes. That same night he woke up at 1:30am and wanted in bed with us so Jimmy went and got him and he had to bring all of those things into bed with us! I felt like I was sleeping with a "bag lady" and a few nights before that he woke up in the middle of the night because one of his slippers had come off and when I went into his room he was crying and hugging the slipper! I am sure that this is just a faze, but he is really going through something right now. I love my little guy so much! Here are a few pics of Evan trying to walk in Jimmy's shoes!

Ellie started dance at the Star's Studio. She is so funny-honestly there are some weeks that she is into it and some weeks that we would be better off staying home. I love it though because it is something that Ellie and I get to do together-it is so hard to spend one on one time with Evan and Ellie they both can be very demanding of me so every chance I get alone with one of them I try to take advantage of it. I think Evan really enjoys dance day too-because he usually gets to spend the day with his dad and Papa John working at the shop.

My heart is totally full tonight. I sat and rocked both Evan and Ellie and sang "You are my sunshine" to them. As I sang I just sat and stared at both of them and thought to myself-my life is just absolutely perfect, I couldn't ask for anything more! I love being a mom so much and I love those moments of bliss when your heart feels like it could explode with happiness and it makes you want to cry! I know that I sound really cheesy, but I am so thankful for these moments and that I have the ability to recognize them and not just let them pass by!

Warren Family Reunion

We just had our yearly family reunion. All of the family goes to Iron Springs and camps for the weekend. We all so much fun! It is so great to get together with everyone and visit. Everyone always has the best food to eat-I feel like you go around from camp to camp just sampling everyone's treats! Evan and Ellie had a lot of fun-there are so many little kids in the family right now-they had so much fun playing with all of the kids! I can't wait until next year when they can really get out and play! The family reunion was always something I looked forward to when I was a kid-it was like our summer vacation and I can't wait for the twins to feel the same way about it!

For the 4th we went to the parade where Evan and Ellie were in total amazement-I think that they were a little overwhelmed by all of the excitement. I love Vernal's little home town parade-I love seeing all of the people being so patriotic and my very favorite thing is the jets-they bring tears to my eyes every year when they fly over. After the parade we went to my parent's house and just hung out-we were wanting to swim but the weather turned out bad so we just hung out and visited. Mike and Sherry had us all over for dinner and then we watched the fire works from their house-they have the perfect spot since they live right by the park! Over all it was a great 4th of July I just wish that the weather would have been nicer.

Well things have been totally crazy at the Lewis house-Evan and Ellie are both walking and they are into everything!! They are really starting to become their own little people-their personalities are so funny-they are really starting to catch on to things-they just amaze me everyday! Ellie "Booty Shakes" on demand-it is hilarious whenever we sing "Shake your Booty" she starts shaking her little hips back and forth. Evan is obsessed with the garden hose-he sits and plays with it forever and he pretends like he is watering the flowers. And last but not least they no longer have the "ba-ba" I just decided it was time last week and I just took it away- It was a pretty hellacious week-since they both relied on it to go to sleep-but we got through it and I am so glad to have that one is behind us.

So this year was my first "Mother's Day"-I actually had the babies last year-but our lives were so crazy with Evan and Ellie being in the hospital that we didn't even celebrate it! So this was the first year that I actually celebrated it! How amazing to have a day that is dedicated to mom's we all get so caught up in our day to day duties that we don't get told "Thank You" very often-so it is really nice to hear it. All I can say is that I am so thankful that I can finally be a part of this holiday-I spent so many years wanting nothing more than to be a mom and now I finally am! I really cannot think of anything I would rather be doing-I love taking care of Evan and Ellie and watching them grow and learn everyday! I only work 2 days a week at the most and on the days that I have to leave them my heart hurts-I am just so content to stay home and do the "mom thing" I hope that I will always be grateful for Mother's Day and remember what it felt like to want to be a mom so badly! Thank you Evan and Ellie for making me a mom and I hope that I can be the best mom to you! Love You Lots!!! Mommy

I can not even believe that a year has already gone by! Their birthday was totally bittersweet, on one hand I am glad that they are getting older and more independent but it makes me so sad to think of how fast time flies. It has been such a crazy year with tons and tons of changes in our lives. I can not even believe how much happiness Evan and Ellie bring to my everyday-they truly are my life-I can't even imagine my life without them!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little family-I wake up every morning feeling totally complete! And I just hope that I can cherish every moment of this next year of their lives as much as I have cherished this one! We had such a FUN party-we invited all of our family and friends-it was totally crazy and I think that Evan and Ellie were a little overwhelmed-but hey you only turn ONE once! I can not even believe the amount of presents they got-It was like Christmas in April! It was so nice to have every one over and have them help us celebrate Evan and Ellie's first year-they are so loved and it really shows!!

So it is totally starting to sound like spring!! Yesterday I was working in my yard and I could hear people mowing their lawns-I loved it and then when I woke up this morning I could hear birds singing-I can't think of a better sound to wake up to! I am definately feeling Spring when I pull out the Green Poka Dot sheets. I changed my sheets today a Sunday ritual and I decided to put the Red Flanel away and pull out the Poka Dots. There is just something about crisp, fresh sheets and whenever I look at these ones I feel like I should be smelling fresh cut grass they are just so cheerful. I think that next Sunday I will be washing the milk stains out from leaking bottles (because I am a total sucker and have to sleep with at least one of the babies from time to time) and putting them right back on the bed. Isn't it rediculous that I get so much enjoyment out of clean sheets.

Tonight I made dinner for my family. We had Shepard's Pie-not a very glamourous meal but a Lewis favorite thanks to Ashley Laris for the recipe. I decided to do something a little different tonight so I wore my cute apron, set the table with my cute red and white dishes and matching place mats and I even put my red tulips in the middle of the table. (my big splurg for the week-I just couldn't help myself they are only $4.99 a bunch at Smith's for anyone interested). No I am not trying to be Martha Stewart I am just trying to enjoy all of the things that I have. I am really trying to concentrate on being happy with the things that I have. I got so much satisfaction out of just taking a few extra minutes and making myself use my creativity. I think that Jimmy even appreciated it because he did the dishes without me even having to ask.

Today was one of my days at home I didn't have to work and I didn't have to go anywhere. It was so nice to just be home I actually didn't do much of anything-I just picked up the house and then I spent the rest of the day with Evan and Ellie. Sometimes I feel like life is crazy I am always running here and there or working and when I am home I feel like I have so much to do. So I really just wanted to spend the day with Evan and Ellie and just play and cuddle-so that is exactly what I did. It was a great day to reconnect and remember the things that are important!

Lately we have all been into theme nights-since we don't have anywhere to eat out in Vernal all of our friends have been cooking like crazy! We decided to start having theme nights. It is so much FUN! Last night we had a Italian Night. Betsy made homeade pizza dough and we sat up a topping bar and everyone made their own pizza-it was so delicous I don't think any of us are going to be able to order take out pizza again! We all have so much fun running around the kitchen cooking and cleaning up and all of the kids get to play! It is nice to have something to look forward to-I get so bored during winter!

Tonight my mom taught Betsy and I how to play the guitar. It was so awesome-I'm really proud of myself I already learned 4 notes (that is amazing for me because I am not very musically inclined) we had such a great time-I felt like we were having our own little jam session! I love it because my mom let me take her old guitar the one that she learned on-that means a lot to me. Hopefully I will become a kicka** rocker and be able to teach Ellie on the same guitar!

We had some friends over to watch the OU vs. Florida game (we won't talk any more about that) and anyways we had all the kids too-Savannah, Hayden, Ramsey, Evan and Ellie it was really crazy and loud, but all of the kids were having so much fun playing with eachother-at one point they were all sitting in a circle playing it was so cute! #1-This morning Evan woke up before Ellie so I grabbed him and we sat on the couch for a little bit, then he layed his head on my chest and cuddled up to me for about 45 seconds-I Loved It!!

#2-The twins were sitting in their highchairs and I was feeding them breakfast when Jimmy came home-when he walked through the door Ellie kept trying to turn around and see him but she couldn't, so I turned her around and the second she saw him she started squilling and throwing her arms in the air-she was so excited to see him! - I think that it made his day!!

Well Christmas was such a crazy time-I felt like we were running all over town so that everyone could see the twins! It is so awesome to know that everyone loves them and wants to be around them so much! We started the night out at Jimmy's Grandma Deon's house-we ate a great meal, vistited with all of the family and played their traditional Christmas game (the one that everyone brings a present and you can steel which one you want from the other person) we had such a great time-Ellie fell asleep in Aunt Corinda's lap and we had to wake her up and head up to my parents house! We just hung out at my partent's for a while and visited with everyone and then went home. When we got home we gave the twins their Christmas PJ's and then we went to bed so that Santa could come!

Every year Melanie has us down to Jensen for a family Christmas party! We always have a blast! It is so much fun to be able to see everyone and for all of the kids to get together and play! It is really cool because Melanie lives in our great grandmas house-she added on to it and totally re-did it! It is such a beautiful home. When we all get together I know Mimi is looking down on us and just smiling! And it makes it even better that we can all be in her house where we can feel her spirit! We all miss her so much, she was such an amazing woman and such a great part of our lives! Every year we all get togethter at my mom's house and decorate gingerbread houses! We have a lot of fun and make a huge mess! After we are all done we line all the houses up and make fun of everyones-mine looks the same every year-everything has to be even on both sides and very simple! Evan needed a haircut so bad! His little mowhawk was so long it was starting to curl over-It looked like a giant brown wave. So Brooklyn got us in. He was funny he wore a little monster cape and she let him play with her clips. He stuck the clips right in his mouth and then pulled a nasty face-I think they tasted like hairspray. It only took a few minutes and now we can keep the mowhawk. Thanks Brooke for getting us in on such short notice!

Well I tried to decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving but it ended up taking me the next couple days! I had a couple interruptions they were named Evan and Ellie. Jimmy went bird hunting so I tried to do it myself. The house was a disaster and I was trying to get us in the Christmas Spirit by listening to Christmas music and making the twins watch The Grinch and Rudolph. I'm sure they totally knew what was going on! So it was pretty much a circus town at the Lewis house! Jimmy and I are so excited for Christmas this year since we finally have kids. Kids are totally what make Christmas fun! One morning when I was finishing up decorating we blasted Christmas Music and sang to the babies than we took them and danced around the house! If anyone would have been watching they would have thought we were crazy! I know Evan and Ellie definately thought we were. I am so excited for Christmas this year- I am going to try and do something Christmasy everyday! I want to make a effort to remember every moment because I know how fast it goes by and then the twins will be having to share us with their inlaws-it makes me sick how fast it goes by! So I think we all need to enjoy every moment and not take it for granted! Happy Holidays!

Well this Thanksgiving was another great one-awesome food and great company! We didn't get a lot of pictures of Evan and Ellie because they weren't in a very good mood. I think that they have been a little over stimulated lately-too many late night rock concerts at Grandma Joy and Grandpa John's house! Lately we have been sooooo into Rock Band we have a awesome line up with Jimmy as our lead singer (imagine that!) we have so much fun but it is so addicting and we make the babies listen and think that they have had it with us! They are probably thinking "okay mom and dad you aren't rock stars so get over it-were ready for bed!" This year was a lot of fun and I have to say that the #1 thing that I am grateful for is my beautiful family! Having a little family definatley makes the holidays even more fun!

This Sunday was such a lazy day! It was nice to not have to do anything-the babies just played and Evan woke up before Ellie from their nap so Evan and I shared a sucker-It was his first sucker and he loved it! After we were done he gave me tons of open mouthed sticky kisses! It was such a great moment one that I definately want to remember! The only thing that would have made it better would be if Ellie had been awake to get in on some of the fun! I love these little stinkers so much! I just look at them in amazement everyday!
